Therapy for women in “the middle”

This is where you begin again–– softly, honestly, as yourself.

Midlife often feels like a crossroads: job changes, shifting relationships, aging parents, hormone changes, questions about who you are, and a quiet desire for more.

You’re not imagining it. You’re evolving.

My practice specializes in supporting women in midlife who are ready to process change, navigate loss, and reconnect with you’re becoming.

Here, therapy is a place to exhale, reflect, and rebuild with intention.

Hi! I’m Marjorie, Licensed Professional Counselor and your guide to navigating midlife with confidence. Welcome!

About the Practice

Midlife is often portrayed as a crisis—but it’s actually a powerful opening.

Women at this stage carry deep wisdom and equally deep exhaustion. You may feel pulled in every direction at once, or like the life you built no longer fits who you’re becoming.

I help women move through this season with:

  • Greater emotional grounding

  • More self-trust

  • Clearer boundaries

  • Renewed purpose

  • A stronger connection to their voice and values

Who I Work With

I support women who are experiencing:

  • Perimenopause or menopause-related changes

  • Burnout, overwhelm, or chronic stress

  • Shifts in identity after parenting, caregiving, or career transitions

  • Relationship reevaluation or communication struggles

  • Grief, loss, or life transitions

  • A desire for deeper authenticity and meaning

If you’re asking “Is this all there is?” or “Who am I now?”—you’re in the right place.

  • $150/50 minute session payable with any major credit, debit, or HSA/FSA card

I do not file with any insurance companies but can send a monthly Super Bill which is the document required by most insurance companies for reimbursement. If filing with insurance is important to you, please confirm outpatient mental health coverage prior to your initial appointment. I cannot guarantee reimbursement under any circumstance.

  • Please give at least 24 hours notice via text or voicemail (843-926-1625) to avoid being charged the full session fee.

Three missed sessions (“no-shows”) will result in termination of the therapeutic relationship. For therapy to be effective, it requires commitment and consistency.
